What is soap?
A cleansing agent made from the salts of vegetable or animal fats

Mybit soaps uses 100% vegetable oils and is 100% Vegan.

How is soap prepared?
The preparation of soaps through a reaction called saponification.
Saponification is the chemical reaction that occurs when fats or oils (fatty acids) come into contact with lye (a base.) Saponification literally means "soap making" from the root word, "sapo", which is Latin for soap. The by-products of the saponification reaction are glycerin and soap.

Mybit soaps uses base as sodium hydroxide and heats vegetable oils together with pure water in process of Saponification.

How is it made?
A perfect mix of traditional and contemporary recipes using essential oils.

Mybit soaps uses basic recipes to give your skin that perfect norishment it deserves. Pure water, saponified vegetable oils & Essential oils.
Along with caring for your body, I aim to help the planet by using recyclable packaging. No animals involved for testing or contributing their fats.
Although Naoh is used to make soap there is no Naoh left after saponification (the chemical reaction that makes soap) is complete. All soaps bars are created with Naoh . Different soaps are made using a variety of different oils. Vegetable oils are used in the soap making process, each adding different qualities to the soap.

Advantages of using Mybit soaps?

It is Handmade Homemade Soap where Glycerin is obtained by the saponification procedure offering superb moisturizing effect. It is a bi product obtained naturally.

Its advantage in the sense that glycerin is not removed from the soap and hence it lends a moisturizing effect.

Added Essential oils which are naturally obtained from plants, trees, herbs and flowers are added to soaps. These essential oils contain healing and curative properties in addition to the aromatic fragrance. When such essential oils are added to these soaps, common skin disorders like acne, eczema and psoriasis can be treated. The anti fungal and anti bacterial properties of these oils lends a soothing and cooling effect to the skin and a variety of other healing properties.
